Yesterday was my first day of classes which now makes me officially a UCC student! My Early Start class is Irish Archaeology and will last for the next three weeks. While the material seems to be a bit dry (especially for a three hour seminar) the class itself seems great because we are going to take a couple of field trips!
This is our classroom, quite different from what I am used to at home!

On my way home from class yesterday I went to the grocery store and snapped a couple of pictures of the walk. This lake is also the same lake that I run around in the loop I have created from my apartment complex. It is very pretty however, there are a lot of large birds that make me very nervous because they seem to be unfazed by humans and I do not think I will ever get used to their presence.
My grocery bag (courtesy of my internship this summer, thank you!) This has been crucial because you have to pay for grocery bags over here and it is a hefty walk home so a bag is definitely required.
Here are a couple more photos of campus, with the beautiful weather we are having here it gets more picturesque every day!
