Cobh Round 2

On Friday, because I had no classes, Emily, Marty and I went to Cobh for the day.  It was nice outside because it was not raining, but very windy by the water.

Trying to calm our hair down

For lunch we stopped at a cute pub called Gilbert's. We enjoyed our lunch and then had some tea and scones because it has been Emily's goal to have at least one scone a day, and in a new place every day. The scones definitely are better over here and she is trying to have as many as possible before she leaves!

After lunch we walked around town enjoying all the beautiful colors and of course, some shopping

At the end of the day we realized that from this whole trip Marty and I do not have any photos together because he has been kind enough to take all of the photos Emily and I want together, but he hasn't gotten in any. So we finally got one together, thanks Marty!

After we got back from Cobh we quickly changed and then headed into town for dinner. Marty had reached out to his mom's cousin who lives in Cork county and he and his wife, Dennis and Hilary, invited the three of us to join them for dinner. We went to Restaurante Rossini and it was a great night.  They were incredibly nice, the food was delicious, but most importantly it was fun talking to people who have lived in Cork their whole lives.
