La Tana

Two years ago I took a trip to Ireland to visit my older sister, Katie, who was studying abroad in Galway.  During that time we took a trip to go visit her friend John, who was studying in Cork.  It ended up being a quick trip but the one thing we did do was go out to dinner at an adorable pizza place.

Now I'm not saying that this pizza was the reason I decided to come to Cork, but I am saying that I spent less than 24 hours in the city, and loved this pizza place, and now I am in Cork; so you can do the math.  

The girls and I finally broke down tonight and decided that we had waited long enough, pizza was on the menu! 

Mission accomplished!  

After dinner I made a stop down the street at Centre to grab this bag of M&M's.  I was so spoiled this summer with my younger sister's baking that my sweet tooth has been seriously deprived since I've been here. (Is it possible to care package your cookies Bean?!) I broke down and gave in, sometimes chocolate and milk is just a must! 

The pizza is delicious, and  I'm know I will be back MANY more times this year, but what makes La Tana extra special is the memory of the great time I had with Katie the first time I went.
